Why do I need to sign in to my Target account to access the app?
- Signing in to your account brings you Cartwheel offers, Weekly Ad, and buying options all in one app, so you can plan, shop and save even smarter, in Target and out. And you'll stay logged in for fast and easy checkout.
How do I create a Target or Cartwheel account?
- You can easily create a Target account by tapping "get started" then selecting "create account". Once you create a Target account you will automatically have access to Cartwheel. No separate Cartwheel account needed.
I already have a Target.com account, but I use Facebook or Google to sign in to Cartwheel.
- We need to get your Cartwheel account moved over to your Target.com account so everything is in one place. Tap "move account" and we'll walk you through transferring your account over to an existing Target.com account.
If you've already moved your Cartwheel to a Target.com account from the Cartwheel app or Cartwheel.com, you're all set. Simply sign in with your Target.com account, and you're on your way.
I use Facebook or Google to sign in to Cartwheel and I don't have a Target.com account yet.

Will my total savings and saved offer list transfer to the Target app?
- Yes. If you use a Target.com account to sign in to Cartwheel, simply sign in to the Target app and your total savings and saved offer list will be there. If you use Facebook or Google to sign in to Cartwheel, you will need to move your total savings and offer list to your Target.com account. To do this, tap "remove account" on the sign in screen and we will walk you through moving your account over.
What if I can't remember my password?
- No sweat! On the Target sign in screen, tap "forgot password? send reset email" link below the sign in button. We'll send you an email to update your password. If your phone supports fingerprint identification, you can enable it for an easier sign in.
I have never used Cartwheel. How does it work?
- Once you sign in to the app, you can start using Cartwheel whenever you're ready. Browse Cartwheel offers, add them to your barcode and then redeem them in store by showing your barcode to the cashier at checkout.
