What is wallet?
- Wallet is a feature that simplifies the checkout process in store by using a single barcode to apply Cartwheel and a REDcard payment. It also allows access to coupons that can be applied with a separate scan.
What can I add to Wallet?
- You can save your Target REDcard™ (Target Debit Card, Target Credit Card, Target™ Mastercard®) to Wallet. Wallet automatically includes your Cartwheel barcode. Wallet can also be used to access coupons that can be applied with a separate scan. Wallet doesn’t accept third-party payment cards.
Can I use Wallet at self-checkout?
- Yes. Scan any coupons in Wallet first, then scan your Wallet barcode and press pay.
Can I pay with a Target GiftCard and Wallet?
- Yes! To use GiftCards with your Wallet, add the GiftCards into your Target.com account or into the Target App. In Wallet, you will see your GiftCards and will be able to select which ones you want to use in a Wallet scan.
Can I use Cartwheel without adding a REDcard to Wallet?
- Yes. You don’t need to add a REDcard to Wallet. Once you create a Target.com account, or sign into your existing account, select "show my wallet" to skip REDcard entry and begin browsing Cartwheel offers.
Can I use Wallet at other retailers?
- Wallet can only be used in Target stores.
Will I have to enter my REDcard PIN each time I use Wallet?
- No. You’ll only need to enter your REDcard PIN one time when you add a REDcard to Wallet. You won’t need to enter your PIN for every transaction.
How do I get help with Cartwheel?
- Visit cartwheel.target.com/help or call Target.com Guest Services at 1-800-204-7704.
Can I add a Merchandise Return Card to Wallet?
- No. Visit our Merchandise Return Card page to learn more.
Can I remove a card from Wallet?
- Yes. Select payment from the Wallet screen. Select edit, then remove card.
What happens if I get a new phone?
- Your card information is connected to your Target.com account. Download the Target App on your new phone and sign into your account to access anything previously saved to Wallet.
Can I get cash back with Wallet when I use my Target Debit Card?
- No. We currently don’t offer a cash back option with Wallet.
